DIANE
KENNA
Diane Kenna, owner of Kenna
Creative, has over two decades of animation, character design, storyboarding, and motion
graphics experience in broadcast, corporate, and children’s
programming, having produced and/or directed hundreds of film and video products.
Kenna's career began with the Magic Theater Co.,
(Chicago) while completing a B.S. in Radio, TV & Film at Northwestern University.
Post graduation Kenna formed Goodrich*Animation,
producing and directing projects for: Abbott Labs, Johnson & Johnson,
McDonald’s; and also creating two animated films adapted from children’s books:
"Howard" (by James Stevenson), and "Ben’s Dream"
(by Chris Van
Allsburg). The company was subsequently bought by a Chicago post-production
house.
Kenna next partnered with Garry Grasinski of Grayson
Media forming Grayson-Goodrich. The firm experimented with new technology in video animation, producing special effects and graphics as well as character
animation for clients such as Arthur Andersen.
Arthur Andersen then hired Kenna as an Animation Specialist,
a position she held until December 2002.
